Puppy breeder demanded Zelle deposit then refused delivery
This individual breeds puppies and sells them to people. Her tactics are somewhat bizarre. She brought the puppy for us to see and forced us to zelle her a deposit and said if we did not she would sell the puppy to someone else. My son fell in love with the dog and we decided to zelle her the deposit. No receipt was provided, no communication after the deposit.
Because she claimed the money was never cleared. She said she was going to take the dog to the vet first and then deliver her and pick up the remaining balance. She waited till the very last moment to let us know she was not going to bring the puppy. We told her to give us the money back but she was trying to dodge us. Only after we let her know we had her on camera and that the police were going investigate did she refund the money. I believed we dodged being scammed. I would like to warn other families with children to be careful when dealing with buying puppies.
