I made a purchase on pupapaws.com for a pet toy, but 5 days after, I was charged $39.99 for a “VIP membership” that I did not knowingly sign up for, and I did not authorize any subscription. I contacted the company to request a cancellation and refund. The company claimed the charge was for a VIP membership and refused to issue a refund, stating that the payment had already been processed. They only canceled future charges after I complained. I believe this is a deceptive practice involving unauthorized or hidden subscription charges. I have disputed the charge with my bank. I am reporting this business for charging customers without clear consent and refusing refunds for unauthorized transactions.

I ordered a dog toy for $14.99 from Pupapaws.com. it arrived to my house and I was charged days later for a VIP membership that was never mentioned anywhere on the website nor did I indicate I wanted to sign up for nor is there any order number associated with this purchase.

I bought a $14.99 dog toy online from PupaPaws.com (via Instagram). The toy arrived in a plan box with no logo or instructions. It was cheap. But then I was charged $39.99 for a VIP membership that I never agreed to. It was not part of the original purchase. This company is planning to charge me $39.99 a month! I’m working with my credit card company to stop it.

I bought a dog bowl from PupaPaws.com and the company enrolled me in a monthly subscription without my consent or knowledge. I only found out when they charged my credit card $39.99. I have tried to call the number (312) 248-4940, no answer. Send emails to [email protected], no response yet. I will dispute with my credit card company but that is incredibly frustrating since I now have to cancel my credit card and any legitimate recurring charges from other companies could be affected.

This company, PupaPaws.com, will sell you a dog toy for $15 which is fine, but barely worth $10. It is direct shipped from China. No branded box, no instructions. Then they will charge your credit card a couple weeks later $40 for a “PUPA+ Membership” which is nothing but a “membership” fee that allows you to buy more crap from them. There is NOTHING on the initial product page that tells you about this. And if you don’t go to their website to cancel it, they’ll charge this $40 EVERY MONTH! All of their reviews are from fake accounts.

Ordered an item from Pupapaws.com and initial 29.99 charge showed up as from “curea.shop” per my Debit card charge. Then I received a charge from pupapaws for 39.99, which was a “complimentary subscription” that they automatically signed me up for at purchase. This was hidden in the terms and conditions. There have been others also scammed, as confirmed via a web search, including a Reddit thread with lots of commenters experiencing the same shady scam. I lost a total of $69.98.
