I am recieved a letter saying this is the final attempt to notify me. Left this 888-803-2351 phone number on it. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Lender info says BOKF Na. Has a property code on it, 8505078452. Looks like a real check but it is not signed and clearly states its not a check. My name is on the fake check with my address on it too. This is definitely a scammer. Has a sent out notice date on. But no business information of where it came from. On the front on the postage it an eagle prepaid postage permit No. 1535 on it. The amount is $199 Allocated waiver.

I received a home warranty letter with “final notice” on it. I called to have my name removed on the mailing list and got berated by the woman that answered, she said there was “no list, and to just throw it in my trashcan” I repeatedly asked to be removed, and she continue to insult, and berate me. I asked to speak to her manager, and she said she was the manager and the business owner. I called back to try to attempt to talk to someone else, and she answered again. And I told her that it was federal law that she remov me from my mailing list if I requested it, and she said she didn’t care and that there was no list. She continued to literally speak baby language and belittle me while I attempted to explain federal law.

I don?t know what they are trying to do, but I suspect it may be a fake attempt to purchase title to my property for $195. If I were to cash this check, for example, perhaps that is supposed to be accepted as a sale or something, or perhaps this scammer is looking to get my bank account info on the cancelled check? I don?t know. There is no return address, only a phone number on the envelope and it has my name and address on it with directions to call within 7 days. The language is somewhat threatening to get the victim (intended to be me) to quickly respond to prevent something happening to their house or their loan.
