Professional Parking Management Reports & Reviews (93)

Received my mail a parking fine stating that I owe for parking in a parking garage in Miami Beach on 10/25/2021 for the balance of $90.95

They have a picture of a car showing the Florida license plate. Not my plate, nor do I live in Florida

Same story as everyone else listed here. I parked in Deerfield Beach for an event, and paid for valet parking inside a garage. Picked up my car with no issues, and then received a letter from them in the mail, saying that I owe 85.00 and it would be reduced to 45.00 if I paid within 15 days. These messages must be working, because I could not even open up their website on my computer or phone, saying it was not a secured site. I'll keep the notice to report to the local authorities, but will not be paying any fake parking ticket. Hopefully you do your research, and avoid this scam of a company.

Mail arrived "presorted first class mail US postage paid permit 634 San Francisco CA" on the envelope addressed to my husband from Professional Parking Management claiming that he owes money for parking charges with a photo of a car that we do not own with license plate that we do not recognize entering and exiting a parking lot in november of this year (no one from our family has gone to Fort Lauderdale FL this year).

They claim it is a parking charge notice that we should not ignore or else it will be "referred to collections and possible further legal action."

This is an obvious scam and we did not pay it of course. It is annoying and may fool someone.

Received a parking charge notice from Winston Salem North Caro;ina for eating at a restaurant ith friends. Upon entering the parking lot you are asked to enter your tag number for valiidation of free 3 hour parking. Received a confirmation for validation of parking on 10/21/21 and still received a parking charge notice on 11/2/ 21 for a fine of $85.00 reduced to 48.15 with my tag number car entering and exiting the parking lot when it wasnt even 3hourslater.. entered at 3:09pm leaving at 4:27 pm. Citation states I have an outstanding balance and must pay within 15 days.. You can not reach a live agent but automated service gives a website to dispute parking charges. When I went to site it states to enter citation numbers did so and it says citation has been cancelled.. SCAM is the answer dor this. I also checked reviews they were all bad same scam and this company is not BBB Accreditted..

I received a letter attempting to collect a parking fine. There were pictures of a vehicle that I do not own leaving a garage that the letter said was located at 245 NE 21st Ave Deerfield Beach FL 33441. The vehicle was not mine. I have never been to this city.

On October 5, 2021, I received a $45 "parking ticket" despite using their system to "pay" - I use quotes, because parking was free, and you simply input your car's plates into their system. This occurred in Fort Lauderdale. On September 21, 2021, Broward County (county of jurisdiction for Ft Lauderdale) made it illegal for a private parking operator to issue tickets. The county commissioner explicitly cited this company as the reason for implementing this law calling them "a scam."

In addition, this company violates many other local, state, and federal laws. At the specific garage in question, the signage does not meet local code which would even allow them to charge for parking at all. Their ticket states "this is an attempt to collect a debt." By including this statement, they have positioned themselves as a debt collector in the state of Florida's eyes. Their ticket indicates you only have 14 days to appeal, yet Florida law requires a minimum of 30 days to appeal a debt. The debt collector cannot contact you in any way between 9 PM and 8 AM, so if you're ticketed between then, that's another violation of Florida law (admittedly, leaving a note on your car could be argued as not applicable to the contact law). Lastly, the ticket states there is a $3.99 transaction fee for paying by credit card (regardless of the transaction). This is a violation of Florida state law (which doesn't allow credit card transaction fees) and federal law which caps it at 4%. In addition, credit card companies do NOT allow a flat fee, and also cap the maximum at 4%, meaning they're violating their merchant agreement with the credit card processors, which could result in them receiving fines or losing their merchant accounts.

I recommend anyone ticketed:
1. If the transaction fee exceeds 4%, immediately report the merchant violation to every credit card company they show as an accepted card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).
2. Check your local laws for whether these tickets are even legal
3. If illegal in the area you parked, report them to the city, county, and state
4. If you already paid, dispute at minimum the excess transaction fee with your credit card company, and if illegal, the entire ticket amount. You may not get much money back, but if enough of us do it, the company will be fined

They sent my grandma who is 70 years old one letter saying she owed $40 for being at a parking garage for 30 minutes without paying. Then they send another one that says final notice and looks like a ticket from the city of Miami but it is in fact, not. Only one person works there and the website that they say you can file a dispute at is literally just a website to pay the “ticket”. This place has been told by the city of Miami it is illegal to send this. Watch out.

I attended an event in Delray Beach, Florida, and was directed by the event staff to park in the subject parking structure at no cost. I received the attached notice of violation amounting to $90.95 for 2 hours of parking. I have no intention of paying these criminals, but I thought I should notify you as to their business practice, if they are a business.

Notice 31045130. RC - Failure to Register or Pay in Advance (Zone 18926)

I parked at a spot that stated retail only and I went to a retail place. What does retail only mean? Why did I get a notice to pay $45.00? I did not see any signs at the parking lot stating that you had to Register or Pay in Advance.

Received 2 expired tags fine at $ 45 each even with my tags current. I reported them to the BBB

I received a letter in the mail from this company with a picture of a car THAT IS NOT MINE! They stated I parked there for 33 minutes and that I need to pay $80 but if I pay it will be reduced to $50. Load of crap. It does not even say where this was located other than Ft Lauderdale, FL. We do not even live close to there. The worst part is after I called their local police department to report them, they told me that the car in the pictures is a leased car with NO ONES name attached to it. But I can dispute charges through their website. This company is screwing poor people over who don't even realize it!

Report them to the BBB. They have a record.

I paid for my parking via app and received a parking charge notice a month later for the amount of $85. The letter states that if paid within 15 days the amount is $45. I just received my notice yesterday dated 7/21 which is passed the 15 days for reduced price. Not only that but I disputed it on their page because I was sure I paid for that parking without overstaying as it was stated on the notice. I come to realize from the pictures they provided that they captured me entering/exiting but failed to capture how i had actually pulled out of the parking spot ahead of time but stayed pulled to the side to wait on my family members who were still loading up after the beach. I was not occupying or in the way of any parking spots. Either way it seems very strange to be charged $100 over a few minutes and mail supposedly sent a month ago but received yesterday

My son lives in Miami. He parks in lots where he works and continues to get these parking violations in the mail. He never receives anything when he parks there, just a violation notice when it’s overdue. This can not be legal. It’s a parking lot by businesses and he works at one of them. Apparently this is illegal and there is a news article about it online called Help Me Howard Story. These are people that continue to scam money out of hard working citizens. I am so over it and will not let this happen any longer. I will be reaching out to the news station as well as the City of Miami.

I parked at a private parking lot located 411 Caroline St Key West, Fl 33040 on 6/26/2021. I paid for the parking on line following the instructions posted at the lot. I decided we would be staying longer than what I had paid for so I went back to the web site a few min later. It had an extend your time. I paid for ghe parking on my CC and have it on my bank statement . 2 charges. They sent me a letter saying I illegally parked in their lot without paying. They included a photo of my car with tag at the time I parked and a photo of my car and tag at the time I left. I have my credit card receipt showing payment. They want $80 and if I settle within 15 days a reduced amount of $50.00 plus sales tax. This lot have been reported many times to the BBB and even Chanel 7 TV station Miami. They state do not pay as it is a scam, please report this company pulling this scam.

Professional Parking Management illegally and fraudulent trying to scam people out their money with parking violations.

A recent newscast by local news network WSVN Channel 10 indicates that this company cannot do this and to contact code enforcement. We will also file a police report for potential fraud.

Same as the previous poster, same address, 201 NW 82nd Ave. They cannot legally collect parking violations in the City of Miami yet they do. The owners of the restaurants there should demand their removal from the property.

This is similar to previous scam alert ScamPulse.com Scam ID 473412. Received a parking fee notice previously and now have received a second notice for the same event. Initial notice contains a tag number that I currently have but, for a vehicle I've never owned or used. Additionally, the initial notice had a photo of the tag which, had obviously been altered to appear as my tag number. The photo indicates the incorrect state and number and has been obviously altered.
