We noticed on our credit card bill that there were two charges for a company called Prime Defender. 19.95 and 9.95 each month. They charged us in June and July, but we reported it to our credit card company. When you look at our credit-card statement no phone number is given, but when the charge is pending there is a phone number. That was the only way I was able to call. We told the lady we didn't sign up for anything and she told us it probably came up as a pop up on our computer since its a software protection. We did not authorize or enter our credit card information, and after we told her that she hung up on us. We will be refunded the money by our credit card company but I feel like someone should investigate this. Phone number is 855-718-7363

Was trying to pay via Asbury Park beach parking app, this defender website pops up during this time and takes your information and charges without client true knowledge. It is impersonating the parking app.

This company Prime Defender when you go into parking garages in the area pops a box on your phone that captures your cc payment and tries to charge for their service. No authorization or agreement.

Tried to download a parking app and clicked on a link thinking it was the app but it was not, it was Prime Defender who immediately tried to take $19.99 from my credit card, but fortunately my Apple Card suspected it was a scam and changed my credit card number.
