The next day, I received three emails outlining the pay, benefits, and that I was one of seven candidates moving forward. However, they required me to obtain a credit report through their provided link, which my antivirus flagged when tested in a sandbox. They instructed me to email them back with the subject "My Availability" to schedule a Zoom call, but they did not specify a return email address.
This raised concerns, so I investigated further. Their website contained stock photos and repetitive content, even on supposed completed projects. Their listed address mapped to a random residential building. Their phone number was linked to Google Voice. When I called, no one answered, but I received a text back filled with typos and incomplete sentences, further confirming my suspicions.
