I applied for several jobs online and was contacted by a company called Plaxonic. I did research and the company seemed to have a social presence so I proceeded with the interview process which was conducted via IM (which should have been my first clue). I was offered a position to work from home and was told I would be provided all the equipment and software needed for this position. Well, they sent me money to purchase the equipment and gave me info on where to send the money. The equipment kept getting delayed and they kept making excuses. The checks sent to me were found to be fraudulent and my account was now being collected the lost funds. I am now out that money. Don't be fooled.
