Called first and stated a file has been forwarded to his office from PinnacleAssetRecovery.com containing DOB and SSN. I told him to send me a validation of debt letter, and sent an email instead to [email protected]. I looked over the website and noticed the contact info. I had attached a screenshot. Claims to be somewhere in the US, but website says differently.

Said I owed for a Cash Advanced from 12 years ago, when I disputed I was told they will freeze my accounts and I have to go to court, the more I argued the more hostile they became. I have been sick about this ever since, and then the charge shows up on my bank account under "Competitive Contact SO" Feel pretty stupid I got scammed when I knew I was right all along,

Got a call from Pinnacle Asset Recovery, they already had birthday and last 4 of social, an incorrect email and my actual email. They were calling from an Alabama number(called number back and it went to their main line) when the company is supposedly situated in Ohio.

Stated I had a delinquent loan from Advance Cash, but it could be from any of the 100s of sub companies, but couldn't tell me the original amount or when it was taken out. Would only send me something with my name, that it was from advance cash, a reference number and an amount owed. They said we could settle for $328 and change instead of the larger amount of $2054.11. If i don't then they'll see me in court.

If i asked just about any question the man i was speaking with, Raven Wade, got very curt and snippy and either put me on hold before i could finish or said 'fine, we'll take this to court then' and immediately hung up.
