I just randomly received 3 gift card emails in a row (within a minute) from amazon ([email protected]) and I am really confused by this.



All of the emails open with ` Thank you for purchasing <name of company> gift cards from Amazon.com.`



With the cards being MasterCard, google play and hotels.com. I have never purchased a gift card from amazon and my account does not show any purchases today, so could anyone help me.

I never ordered anything from Amazon and got this email last night. The tracking number is also invalid. The link takes me to a weird website

 

“Hello, We are processing the order number : 758953DHJKE

Your package is on its way to you. The tracking number for this purchase shipment is:

To view the tracking details, click here.”

Received an email from someone claiming to be PayPal telling me I bought $850 of cryptocurrency. And if I wanted to dispute it to click on the link provided or call the number in the email. I logged into my PayPal account and saw it was bogus. I deleted the email.

I didn’t answer the phone call, but when I listened to the voicemail sent, I’ve heard it too many times from different phone numbers.

This time I decided to call back the number left on the voicemail, 302-758-9985, and when a person picked up, and I told him to take me off the DNC list, he told ME to stop calling him. Infuriating!!

They kept calling from a private number saying i signed as a Garentor on a loan from someone who lives in another state. They kept saying that they have my signature on file. Then when i told them that its impossible and told them i wont be falling for their scam. They started to call me and my husband black [censored] (which is neither relevant to their call) they continued with we are scammers and we are running away with their 5000 . They kept bombarding me with phone calls. Harrasing me and saying that i was going to go to jail.

Received email stating that my account was being renewed for 12months and that my account was going to be automatically debited for $275.50. I did not click any links or call as it clearly was spam.

this number calls me 5 times a day i have my number as do not call for tell markers etc. number that keeps calling 844-993-4081

Claimed to be calling from Bell, asked if name is "xxx" I said "yes". Then they said they have an offer for my bundle at 40% off. Knew that was fake so hung up. Worried that I said "yes" though....

I work in social media for an automotive group north of Boston (***** Automotive Group). For months, we have been receiving messages in Facebook messenger claiming to be Meta and that our Facebook page will be deleted / page has been flagged for unspecified reasons. We have 9 Facebook accounts total and they are all getting these spam type messages. Attached is a screenshot of our ***** Automotive Group Facebook messenger page:

The company perpetrated a fraud by advertising on social media as Bath And Bodyworks. The site and the checkout process mimicked the Bath And Bodyworks official site. I did not notice the company name until I received my banking statement and I have not received a delivery or tracking for the product nor the product at all.

I'm selling a product on Facebook Marketplace when I was contacted by what I thought was a potential buyer about my product. The woman ("Sara Powell") asked for my phone # to verify everything and then asked me to respond to her with a texted verification code. The then told me my verification code was invalid. Now I just read about this, this is a real scam.

Received a phone call from Officer Mark Allen badge #264742 from Office of Inspector General. He says a charge was made by me from Amazon in the amount of $1,270 and he was calling to investigate the purchase. I had made a donation the day before but not on Amazon. My caller ID showed an international phone call from the Netherlands. I asked him how I could call him back and he gave me the number 1-800-447-8477. He asked if I have Alzheimer's or dementia and I said yes and then he hung up the phone.

They called, threatened to go to court which would cost much more money. Stated they don't take credit cards only debit cards. Would not give me proof that the original loan was mine. Stated it is my responsibility to pay it because it's in my name. Could not provide any proof it was my account, kept being very threatening, threatened to garnish my wages, take me to court. They even called one of my adult kids and left a threatening voicemail. They said the loan was from EZ Money. I've never used or even heard of that company before.
