An Orange County sheriff brocure with an envelope stapled to it was placed on our car windshield. The scammer(s) circled the parking violation on the brochure and hand wrote pay $30 next to the circled violation. There was no official parking ticket providing citation number, due date, payment methods, etc...

I called customer service to see what was wrong with my account. $syf46tfdg he called Cash App and did 16 transactions and had me transfer my money to bitcoin. I was told I sold my money. It was very confusing and I lost my entire SSI check. $1200. They even called me back several times.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from CVS. They were calling asking for personal information, such as date of birth, SSN.. they were being very persistent so I hung up.

Got a text message saying someone open an account and bought something in my name. I decided to call them regarding it because I knew it wasnt right. They pulled up the transaction and while they were talking I gave them a code from my phone. They were able to pull up all my info on my phone. I had to freeze my bank account, I dont know if they have my personal information.

I received an email from Maria Lena telling me that I'm a great candidate for a CEO position for one of her clients and that I was referred by a third party agency. She then asks me to send her my resume and makes a point of highlighting that there are no fees or charges to the candidate. The signature line only contains her name (misspelled as "Maira) and her title (HR Consultant), but no company name. While there is a website (https://topexecutivehunt.com/index.html), there is no company address or phone number, which is odd given that they claim to have been in business since 1996. I also cannot find this person or company on LinkedIn.

Received a package that looked like it came from amazon but does not seem it was from amazon and its unmarked but to my attention and address and says HOME as well as part of my address...has items in it that I would have never ordered including baby burping cloths and two items of eye make up. There are QR codes on the outside of the box and on the products which I did not attempt to scan.

I had just read about this in ScamPulse.com scams alert. A package arrived with just my address on it, it was left outside our building, which is unusual in itself. There was no return address or anything to indicate where it came from, just a QR code in 2 different places. I was thinking FedEx was the delivery company, but then realized I only thought that because of the name Fed Fed Fed on the box. There was actually no name of any courier on it. When I opened the box there was also no paperwork or invoices or any explanation. What was inside were 3 meals.Each individual meal had a QR code on it, too. They said the meals were beef, but, I think it was that fake synthetic beef, they didn't look right. Also, the directions were not written in fluid english. I think they were written in a different language and computer translated. If I hadn't just read about this scam, I probably would have scanned that QR code. Thank you so much for the heads-up! And, just in case you think that I got something for nothing...it was garbage, even the neighbourhood crows, that I often feed, wouldn't eat it.

THEY CREATED SIRIUS XM FAKE WEBSITE AND USED TO SELL YEARLY PLANS, BUT IN REAL THEY DONT PROVIDE ANY SERVICE, NO AFTERSALE SERVICE. IN ACTUAL THEY PROVIDE PROMOTIONAL PLANS, THEY USE OUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION FOR THEIR SELF PROFIT, I DO INSIST ALL TO WHETHER CHECK ITS SIRIUS XM AND DONT PAY ANY AMOUNT TO THIRD PARTY.

This man matched with me on Tinder who claimed to be from France and have an PhD from university of Pensylvania and quickly asked me to start talking on whatsapp. He was talking about bitcoin and investing and it would be fun for me to try to make some money. When I said I didn’t want to share my financial information to someone I didn’t know he blocked and unmatched me. This is the 2nd near identical time a man has claimed to be from France and has tried to get me to trade bitcoin. I have photos of both of these men.

Individual attempts to offer technical support on Roku. He asks for your email and Changes your email to your [email protected], thereby locking you out of Roku. He tells you to pay $69 for a new subscription. That’s when I knew it was a SCAM. Roku is Free! I hung up he called back from an Unknown # Ask if I was ready to pay to watch my TV. I called Roku support but every time they think I am clear he goes in and shows me in Guest Mode, can’t access my Apps.

I was contacted via text by a man claiming to be "Ted from the Legal Department of USA TM Solutions." He was threatening to file a trademark using our business name, Find Your Anchor, claiming that if we didn't file a trademark on it, he would file one and we would no longer be able to use our mark.

When I didn't respond, I received a follow-up text from him the next day stating again that a registration would be filed if he didn't hear from me. He then gave me his "Direct Line" which was a number to a competing trademarking company - Trademark Wave.

I have looked up both USA TM Solutions and Trademark Wave and neither are registered in California. The number I was texted from is 213-659-0719. The "direct line" number is 866-272-5212 (goes to Trademark Wave).

Neither company is registered to do business in California.

Got a text from "Sierra at Klarna" this morning (2/26/25). She wanted to "offer me a job" that looked to good to be true and wanted me to respond via Wattsapp. I spotted it as a scam right away. These people are the [censored] of the earth. Watch out!
