PDSS labor law poster letter demands $110 from new LLC
I received a letter in the mail related to employment labor law posters, threatening fines for non-compliance and requesting $110 to order said posters. They list a local address in Denver but postage was paid from Ft Lauderdale FL and the return envelope is to PO Box 840208 in Pembroke Pines, FL 33804. I recently registered an LLC so it seems like PDSS is scraping data on new businesses across the country.

Labor Law Poster Offer Leads to Fraudulent LLC
THIS IS A TROJAN HORSE!
Received Labor Law Poster offer for Colorado State with a “Record ID Number”.
Went to the Colorado Secretary of State business license lookup and entered the “Record ID Number”. An LLC had been fraudulently created on July 22, 2026 using my friends personal name and address as “the person forming the LLC”, which they did not. The agent of record was a person who has what appears to be a legitimate business license in Colorado since 2019. My friend filed reports of this crime to the Colorado Secretary of State, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), local police department and froze their credit at the three (3) major credit bureaus; Experian, Equifax, and Trans-Union.
