Googled "apply for US passport" and US Passport Submission was the 1st website shown. After inputting personal information and paying what i thought was the $130 passport fee along with a protection service, it was determined I still needed to pay the US government the passport fee.

This website represented itself as if the fee they were charging was strictly to renew my passport electronically when actually all they did was take my personal information and paste it into a form. I then paid $151 via credit card expecting that they would electronically file my passport renewal. After I paid the $151 I was able to download a 3 page form, which I thought would be my receipt and proof of submission, but what it actually was is a 3 page form for me to send to the Dept of State myself and I have to pay another $130. They entirely misrepresent themselves and their services.
