The website is set up to look similar to one that you would use to renew your passport. The charge is similar to what it cost to renew a passport. I was trying to renew my passport and click on one of the top choices provided by ******. After filling out all the necessary info name, ssn, address, and payment, I thought I was set to have my passport renewed. Unfortunately, their service was only to send you a prefilled application with the information you provided. You are still responsible for paying to have your passport renewed.

I was attempting to renew my passport online. This company represents itself as the passport service and I believed I was filling out the application with the US Passport Office to find out that it was not. I put information in personal and credit card and hit "next" to find out the entire service was them taking my info, placing it on the govt form and emailing me a copy - for $88. I had to dispute it.

Fake website making you pay to fill out passport application when you shouldnt get charged. It’s free on the government site to print and bring to local office. I still had to pay the processing fee again

I recently applied for my passport at traveler-pass-permit-usa.com. I filled out the application and was charged $89.00. The scammer had the same application as the state. I went to the post office to turn in my application and they charged me $166.00, I explained to then that I had already paid $89. They told me that the website was not legit and that more than likely I was scammed. I tried to return to the scammers website and it now gives in error. I contacted my bank and they will not return the money they said the merchant has to. The transaction on my card statement says passport-assist.com as the merchants name.
