Facebook User James Moore (profile link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/profile/61592688770642/). Attempted to buy three sets of tires off of him, was sent pictures. Only had Apple Pay/Cashapp available, which set off some alarm bells. Paid via Venmo since I had buyer protection available on it. Paid $200 for 3 sets of take off/used motorcycles tires plus shipping. Paid Oct. 1. Didn't hear anything about tracking/shipping, so contacted him on Oct. 5, where he replied Oct. 6 that the tires had been shipped. I responded right away asking for the tracking info, message was read but not replied to. The last message he sent me was that they were shipped. Messaged again on Oct 11, 12, and 21st, when I filed a claim with Venmo on the 21st. Still no responses, but messages being read. James' Fiance is the owner of the Venmo account, Kelly Teuscher. When I filed the claim, his Fiance requested $200 from me with the note "refund", I believe in an attempt to scam me out of another $200.
