We are pleased to inform you that after reviewing your application and credentials, you have been selected for the Purchasing & Supply Specialist role with Outpace Bio. We are excited about the potential of having you on board as we work together to unlock the full potential of cell therapies and make a lasting impact in the field of biotechnology.
To proceed, we would like to invite you to a brief onboarding meeting with your immediate supervisor, Manya Deehr, who will be guiding your integration into the team. I joined the Microsoft teams link for an interview as instructed. I was asked some interview-style questions, which I answered and was offered the job. I was asked to share my address so I can have some equipment's mailed to me for the Job. Then I got another message saying that a cheque will be mailed to me in the post. That's when I became suspicious. This morning I received a UPS mail with 2 cheques, one of which was addressed to me from Outpace Bio ($28,850.88) and another cheque for $3,750.00 addressed to another individual whom I have never heard of. This is confusing and is giving all signs of a scam.
