I needed a lawyer for hr case and I got a call from someone posing as Kyle, he agreed to take my case and sent me a retainer agreement to sign. They are asking for $1000 retainer fee for court cost but it feels a little to good to be true. They claim to only ask for 10% of the winnings, and most places that do work for people ask for atleast 25%. I feel very insecure about this and came to do my research

Been receiving phone calls, they threatened ** ***** ** ***** if i didn't pay up. They are targeting people with dui's who need legal counsel. The crown in pembroke on this case forwarded the clients information to this fictitious company without realizing they were not legit. The client had initiated the contact via a contact form on the website. Rio law is impersonating another legal firm called rio law legal services. Theit website is www.riolaw.ca. the scammers website is www.riolaws.ca. You cannot leave a message via phone, the answering system is a robot. My nephew is the victim on this scam, td bank had opened an investigation since the supposed refund cheques tbey mailed back turned out to be fake. In the mran time my nephew has received and recorded threatening calls from private numbers threatening to physically hurt him. Its unbelievable!
