I received a phone call saying that I would be a good fit based on my resume for this company by the name of On-Track LLC. Which now I believe they are using the name of this company as a front for their scam business. The lady began to tell me that they were an international company, and the position would be for a 'freight inspector' and that there would be a base pay of 5400 monthly and a $40 bonus for each additional package. You would be warned also with all of the videos that you had to watch that if photos were not clear and readable that money would be deducted from your base pay and if you would not do VIP pickups; which would earn you more money because you actually go to pick up the VIP packages, that your base pay would drop down by $700. The set up is that packages would be delivered to my residence via FedEx, UPS, and that I would inspect the packages, re-package with the same package that it arrived in to save cost, inspect the packages, download the label and input the required information per package onto a 'dashboard' that would be activated with the start of the job. On this dashboard you can see your base pay, an area for 'mail messages' you can upload additional photos, messages, etc. You have to 'accept task' over to the right of the dashboard. Then once you accept the task, and when the package arrives, then you inspect for damages, so forth. Download the label (which can take hours or the next day) to download and then take the package to the destination which is either FedEx, USPS (post office) or UPS. And it is a must that you get the receipt. The receipt, picture of the serial number, barcode, etc, and package receipt (if there is one) are all things that is required per package that is uploaded. And you just monitor to see when package is 'shipped'. On this dashboard each time that the package receipt is uploaded after dropping off the package shows (shipped) you can see Bonus amount that you have earned and when you go to the 'status' category you can see the so-called of amount that you have earned. They will tell you in the made-up interview at the initial phone conversation that you must wait 30 days (probation period) before you will get paid. Then after the first payment you will get paid bi-weekly. So, what brought this all to a downward spiral was when I mentioned to a friend about my job, she told me of a young lady that experienced a similar job and found out that it was an outright scam and that at the end of the 30-day period she never got paid. She had given her bank account information along with other information for W2's, W4's etc. Thankfully I did not give my bank information because I 'opted' for a check even though unfortunately I never received one because after I was informed of a possible scam; once I questioned my so-called supervisors (which are three ladies name Jordan, Grace, Chloe) of this possible scam. The main supervisor totally dismissed it, they sent supposed copies of all of the legal paperwork to 'validate' their legality. I had informed them to not send anymore packages to me because I wanted to check out the company and make sure they were legit. The main supervisor persuaded me that they were and said that she would go ahead and send me half of my money (by check) because that was the option that I chose for payment. This conversation of this resolution was on a Friday, along with the package that I had told them prior not to send & I had no intention of delivering; after speaking to her I went ahead and did the process and the package was sent off; she called me again the next day on Saturday to Thank me for getting the package off and again told me to enjoy the money that I would get now upfront to smooth everything out, so to speak. Later that evening on Saturday, when I went onto the 'dashboard' where I worked from each day; was now 'Deactivated' and I could no longer log-in. Now when I call the numbers for each supervisor, it goes straight to voicemail or I will get a response that they are in a meeting and never get a call back. Please, Please BEWARE of these scams! Now I know are SCAMS! You do all the footwork and using your gas, time, product (tape, printing paper, etc) and putting in the work; and you never get paid. Another thing about this set-up is that the packages when they arrive to your residence will come from someone else but will have your address. Always! I'm not sure how this set-up works BUT they have gone through elaborate measures to utilize people like me and many others to make it work for them at your 'time' & expense! BEWARE so you DO NOT GET USED like me!
