I get robo calls from people claiming they are Google all the time trying to help me claim by Google Business Listings. We own/operate 33 locations in 3 states. I own my listings and are fairly proficient here. These scammers take your basic info and pass you off to the next person that explains what google is, and fraudently says they work for google and will help you setup your listing. Lately, I have been letting them get to the end of the spill and asking them to email me a quote. Most won't do it. So, then I ask who will show up on the CC transaction or if they have a website. That is how I can identify the scammers. They won't send you any info, just want to process the CC payment then or call you back. They won't even provide me with a phone number to call them back. I get tired of these calls every day and now will be trying to get info on each of them that does this.
