Online Retailer Scam Reports & Reviews (2024)

- Altamonte Springs, FL, USA

I thought I was ordering books and then once I was checked out I noticed extra stuff was added to my order that I did not agree to and it says that I would be getting a complete book set but they sent e-links I asked several times in emails about books and they just keep repeating the same email with e-links. It says they give a 60 day guarantee for your money back and to cancel this membership that I also did not want so I emailed them and the email bounced back! Several others have commented on their Facebook about have money stolen from them as well! [email protected] is the email that bounced back which is shown on their website. They have my card information now.

I have shopped on Bloomchic many times. I got an ad for what I thought was them, but it was a replica site that boasted a major sale. Once I made the purchase, I got the email with my order # and I knew I was in trouble because the order # looked nothing like my previous order numbers. I went back to the site and realized it was a knock off of Bloomchic and I began researching. Apparently, this is what these guys do. UGH

Ordered a hoodie 2 years ago on https://unknownstudioss.com/collections/hoodies old website then when I texted him on instagram he tried to make me buy a new hoodie and told me he couldn’t do anything for me beacuse it was on his old site and had no receipt for the order I just want his store closed at this point or my money back or something please ??

I purchased 2 orders of product Airiver AR30 Filter Set - Pre Carbon Filter, Post Carbon Filter & TCR Carbon Filter (M6). Because I bought Airiver brand name Airiver's water generator. Had it for over a year and needed to replace the filters.

So I thought going directly order product would be safer and easier to get filter from them since they are the one that sell water generator. So I order products from their website to replace my filter. 2 months gone buy I sent them email than I received email from Matt Silver reply back that they will be delay do to some busy and their products being back order . He said my order should be sent out at the end of March beginning of April. I never received it. I email him again. It's over more than 6 months from my order date. Now no reply since. It seems their website is being taking out. I try to email him back I want my refund. But still no reply. So I'm seeing if I can get legal help to sue Airiver company. Still deciding if this is worth my time for $198 dollars I lost to them.

I saw content creators raving about this Glizara company on tik tok. So I went to their website which seemed legit. I placed my order on 5/4/24 nothing has shipped. I emailed them on 5/21/24 asking to cancel this order and for me to receive a refund. I have spoke with a Sofia via email. Nothing has been done, no cancellation of order or refund of money. Now they won’t answer me. I just want my money back.

I attempted to purchase a water bottle from AirUp for my son on Monday evening, 6/3. The website declined my initial transaction, so I attempted it with a different credit card, which was also declined. I then asked my husband to try (my son really wanted this water bottle) and it declined for him as well. On Thursday, 6/6 each of these three payment methods (two of mine and one of my husbands) all had fraudulent charges pop up. This website is the only common denominator where we both used each of these three payment methods. There is some kind of scam going on here.

Our bank has refunded the fraudulent charges so I’m not seeing them on my statement right now and I can’t give an accurate total. $200 is an estimate.

This company posted an ad under another companies name. Because I was familiar with that company I made a purchase. The confirmation email came from a different business name. I was given a Chinese tracking link, after 7 weeks the link finally said the package was delivered via USPS but gave no USPS tracking number. No package was ever delivered.

- New York, NY, USA

This is an online balloon delivery company - they don't have a physical address listed and do not return calls or emails - based on google reviews it looks like other people have had this same experience

You place an order but then it's never delivered

- Brooklyn, NY, USA

Scammer is using someone else's product images and videos to sell dresses that don't have any of the advertised features. Like pockets, boning in the bodice and lace up ties in the back.

I went through the process of reporting the issue and was told they can't accept returns. They offered a 20% refund. But the dress delivered isn't worth the postage. This is obviously a fraudulent business trying to offload knockoffs.

- Destin, FL, USA

I ordered a lap desk pillow (should have come with a free additional pillow per their website) from Coolooo.com (which also operates on Amazon). I attempted to reach out to them multiple times and in multiple ways with no response. When the order came, it was a washcloth.

- Sterling, VA, USA

Promissing huge mystery box from Amazon return pallets, for 75$ I received a tiny box w 2 counterfeit items, a fake AirPod and some aftermarket charger. Not even 10% value of what I paid . They also did advertised returns being accepted but it’s a lie. They don’t take any returns and just was checking for the website but it’s no longer valid even that. At this point I will try to file a dispute with my financial institution to try to get my money back. Meanwhile I want to warn others of these scammers, don’t buy no mystery anything from Amazon pellet sellers. It’s a whole bunch of bs that ain’t a mystery at all.

- Royersford, PA, USA

I ordered clothes and paid $449. Some of the clothes did not fit properly. I emailed the company for a return authorization - 5x. My email keeps being returned saying it is undeliverable. (Their email must be shut down.) I am unable to reach the company to initiate a return. The company website says the clothes are made in North Carolina.

- Duncannon, PA, USA

Someone came to my business to purchase something that was advertised on Facebook. The site was https://furnleysmachinery.com/ with the phone number of (717) 837-9592 and the email of [email protected]. which is not my phone number nor email.

- Brooklyn, NY, USA

I called because my credit card wouldn’t go through and I was trying to buy a bottle blender from superdealentry.com. After I received an error message, I didn’t call the phone number (833) 831-7259 , she asked for my phone number. And then she attempted to ask for my email address and the heavy Indian accent. I didn’t became suspicious and I asked her which third-party company she represented and she said that’s all she was allowed to say in a very harsh tone. Do you need me to believe that she was trying to scam me so I then hung up the phone

- Reading, PA, USA

I looked on internet for antenna and they were rated#1 I ordered and money was charged to my credit card. I received a tracker number but it stayed the same location for 5 days . Called credit card company cancelled my card . Called wavemax customer service tried to get my personal information I told them I found out this was a scam and wanted my money refunded and would report it to ScamPulse.com

- San Diego, CA, USA

The company provided false advertisement all over instagram. They are under the name QUASICO on instagram claiming they sell Korean skincare face masks. When you make the purchase, the product is in fact from china and made in china. The product is of significantly lesser quality and value than the product they claim to sell. This is duping a lot of non-Korean non-Chinese people into purchasing a fake product.

- Downingtown, PA, USA

I placed an order 7/23 for two pajama pieces on their website. They were a pre-order expected to ship around October. The company has continuously claimed production problems and keeps pushing the date back. The last update was April 2024 and I was told to expect my purchase in April or May. I have not heard anything further and they are not returning messages at this point. According to their Facebook, many people are having these problems with them not responding anymore. I am hoping I can dispute the charge with my bank at this point.

- Madera, CA, USA

Nice website customer service was awesome reviews were locked in also showed ScamPulse.com but i failed to look into making sure it was ScamPulse.com I took the logo by chance that it was right and all was good.

- Farmingdale, NY, USA

Order made, heard nothing back about shipping, followed by no replies when emailed.

- Saint Petersburg, FL, USA

Valanio advertised beautiful, good quality clothing through pictures on Facebook. They advertised that all the clothing is manufactured in and shipped from Columbia, SC, USA. But when the clothes arrived they had a sticker on them saying made in China as well as the fabric quality was extremely poor, it was printed poorly and very thin as if about to disintegrate. This company is a scam hustling people to buy something that is not what they advertise. I have worked in the textile industry and can see this fabric is extremely poor quality. They will not refund my money. They need to be stopped
