I contacted Flowers by Nora in Lawrenceville/Woodstock Georgia by telephone on Friday, August 16, from my home in Webster NY. Selected FBN as the website indicates "Family Owned and Operated local florist." I ordered 3 identical plants to be delivered to my nephews living in 3 area locations. This was to happen on the same day with identical plants in memory of their deceased father, my brother. Same day delivery and identical plant was most important. I was promised that the plants would be delivered that day. That evening, one nephew reported that he did not receive a plant. I emailed Flowers by Nora. On August 17 at 9:25 am, I received a response that the plant would be delivered that day, At 10:41, I received an email indicating that they no longer carry the specified plant. We emailed back and forth. I asked that they contact a local florist in their area to find that plant. I explained the importance of identical plants being delivered. I sent my brother's obituary, he was a VP at Equifax and begged! The only option I was provided was to substitute the plant or receive a refund. I explained that I wanted a refund for the total amount of all 3 plants ($249.54) as I was deceived into believing that my goal of 3 identical plants be delivered to my nephews. They refuse to refund me the total amount.

This morning, August 19, the plant I ordered continues to be offered on the Flowers by Nora website. I looked into this company a bit using the internet and found that IT IS NOT A FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED LOCAL FLORIST!
