Found ad on Youtube for clothing website charmfay. Purchased 2 items totaling 107.59 after tax from them. delivery expectation was set for 5-8 business days. purchase date was jan 29th. looked online for reviews a few days after the purchase. found warnings that indicated the company was fraudulent. gave them benefit of the doubt and chose to contact their support email which is [email protected] to request a refund + cancellation of the order since it wouldn't arrive in time for the purpose of the purchase. had a bit of a back and forth where they were telling me information which directly contradicts their policy page. information in question: the support team having no clearance to cancel orders which they themselves later said they could, telling me the consumer to cancel the order myself when the only option for cancellation is with the provided support email, trying to make me pay 15% of the total price of the order as a cancellation fee when their policy indicates that the only charge would be the shipping fees which should not apply since nothing has been shipped yet. their responses take 2-4 days at a time which is delaying resolution. at this point I'd just like to have my money back and to make sure this online business is flagged properly as fraudulent so that others do not fall for the same thing. ads should be properly vetted before going onto prominant areas of the Internet such as youtube
