I was looking for a cat to adopt online when I received a message from an organization on Facebook called Pet Haven Cats & Kittens. They asked for a deposit and shared a link where I could choose my cat. They requested that I use Apple Pay, but the transaction didn't go through. They asked me to call my bank, but I didn't.

Then they insisted that I use Zelle, which was blocked on my account. They continued to urge me to contact the bank and provided me with another Zelle account under the names Adan Ortiz and Lyah Avens. None of the Zelle transactions went through, so I called my bank and informed them that someone was trying to scam me.

The person didn’t answer when I tried to call back, but I reported the Facebook account.

I was looking for kitten ragdoll. I liked a kitten. I selected and paid $250 for pet proce and $100 for shipping fee as well. I also requested to deliver the pet on 12/26/2024. But nothing came on my door. So i tried to contact to the company by phone text and fb chat as well. The person name Jason told me that the shipping company requires for $850 for shipping security deposite refundable. I paid that as well by zelle. When i paid, then still i did not receive anything at my door as promised. I tried to contact to that person again, but he never answered my any phone call and chat of fb. Everytime this person asked me to send money by different zelle accounts and those all account were shown as suspect scam by my bank. When i paid another $850, then this person asked me to pay $200 for pet vaccinantion as before departure. I paid that as well. But again i did not receive anything. And person name Jason called me again and told me send more $750 for security deposite, where i already have paid everything. At this time i did not pay anymore to them. But i filed complain in my local police Albany Police Dept and FTC as well. As i have found that these people are scammer.
