Online Overseas Retailer Scam Reports & Reviews (256)

They advertised something that caught my eye. I had just had a baby and the purchase I thought would help keep me in shape but at the same time save some money...but the package never came and they got paid..they are scamming a lot more people other than myself. Can't imagine how much money they have made

The company promotes itself as a South Carolina company with Made in the USA clothing. They are actually a chinese company (probably a sweat factory, possibly Uyghur). I don't think any of my PII was stolen - I have identity monitoring - but I am not 100% sure. I did not order through Facebook but went to the website - it seemed legitimate. When I saw the charge on my credit card was from China I knew it was a scam and sure enough, the clothing finally came (2 weeks late) and was 1. way too big; 2. significantly lower quality than stated on the website; and 3. One dress was supposed to be a cocktail dress with a skirt that had multiple layers of organza and glitter but was a cheap cotton knock off with a printed on pattern.

When I tried to return the items their customer service started negotiations with me on how much they would give me back and trying to get me to see this as a great deal.

We can refund you USD$55 as compensation, could you kindly keep the order? If the clothes are returned, the freight will be borne by yourself. Shipping fee is very expensive.

I will accept the $55 and keep the dresses.

They will be exhibit A and B in my complaint with my friends at the BBB, Consumer Protection Agency and FTC for fraud.

Or you can refund me the full $90 and I’ll forget the whole episode.

The shipping fee is very expensive because Ryabe lies about being a US company based in South Carolina…and lies about the merchandise.

Good day.

This company uses several different names. This causes credit card companies to find in their favor when the charge is disputed. I purchased merchandise from a company call Deuyo, when I tried to return the items, the company asked for reasons and when that was not good enough, they asked for pictures. After complying there was no response. When the credit card got the dispute they were sent a receipt from a company called CTB Accessories located out of the United States. On there advertisements they say they are a small company located in North Carolina.

This company runs under various names, ie., Valanio, Crigne, Lsoru,Ryabe.

The scam website is mimicking the real site luvmehair.com. To purchase wig. That’s supposed to be high quality human hair and the scam site give costume wigs.

I purchased 2 pieces of clothing from this website on November 1st. I emailed this company regarding my transaction and no response has been given from them. Also, the items on the website say awaiting shipment still.

Uses fake product pictures and then delivered a completely different product that was low quality and defective. When trying to get refunded they only offers vouchers or $5 back, not the full amount as outlined in their website.

Prior to ordering their goods (clothing) I contacted their customer service email to make sure that I could return and get refund if items do not fit or were poor quality. I was assured so. When I wanted to return the items do to poor quality and poor fit I was initially ignored then finally was told I would only get about 15% refund. I told them I wanted to return goods and get full refund they said I had to send items to Dubai. Their website clearly states that the goods were produced in South Carolina and that they had warehouses in the USA. I asked for their US address but was ignored.

Hi,

I bought two pairs of winter boots, cost of $50 each, but never received. tried email them but they apologizing with not product delivery

Saw an ad for the website on instagram. Regrettably ordered 4 items. Only received three. All of the items look completely different than what was shown on the site. False advertising. They won’t refund me for my missing item and keep sending the same generic response through email. There is no phone number.

The company claims everything is made in South Carolina, but upon arrival everything says made in China. The product that arrived looks nothing like what was advertised. They have fake reviews on Facebook about the sweater. When I posted about how I was given a different product and it’s not made in south Caroline my comment was taken down and I am blocked. I asked for a return and was offered $20 back but I want a full refund

I ordered a Raised Garden Bed at Buy 2 Get 50% off last September for a total of $69.99 which was withdrawn from my bank on October 3, 2022. I received 2 accurate confirmations of my order including a shipping notice. Later that month I received a delivery notice and wondered why there were no boxes outside my door. However, I did find a plastic envelope in my mailbox containing 2 sets of 10 toothbrushes from China. I contacted suportier.com by email with details about the error. It is mid-November and I have heard nothing. I have no Raised Garden Beds, no response, and $69.99 worth of Chinese toothbrush at $3.50 a brush. Despite comments on this site, I have a feeling that the site may be a scam. If not, WATCH OUT!

I ordered head phones for $29.88 when I called they charged international rates I never got my head phones and on top of that I was charged $108.00 in phone charges to find out about my order which they said they have no record of my order

Scammer promotes clothing products online (Instagram). Does not send product.

I ordered from storyoon.com believing it to be a California company based on their website. The order took 1 month to receive and it came from China. The website states "free and easy returns". When the items arrived, they were knockoff items of USA items. They were the same colors but not the same products. I ordered a swimsuit that was not an adult size (seemed to be child sized) and was clearly a knockoff of similar USA made swimsuits. The coverup was not a skirt, it was a rectangle sheer scarf. The necklace was sized for an infant neck. When I reached out to [email protected], they advised I would need to ship the items back to China and pay shipping, taxes and import taxes. Once they received the products, they would inspect and decide if I would get a refund or not. When I reached out and sent them screenshots of THEIR OWN website that states free returns, they just kept sending the same reply I needed to pay to send it back and then might not even get a refund. When I inspected comments on the Facebook page, I can see others have also been scammed. I reported the site to Facebook but it has not been removed. I am reporting this to my credit card company as well. No one should purchase from this site for counterfeit products that they cannot return. This is a total scam and the site is pretending to be USA owned.

I ordered multiple NFL items from this website (pictures of what was purchased could not be attached but I have proof of what they should’ve been) all Jets attire and one “choose happiness” sweatshirt. What I received is below, one jets shirt that looks nothing like anything advertised and the rest just random things. I asked for a refund and to ship the items back and they said I would have to pay for shipment to China in order to get my money back but they do not have anything written anywhere that is the case. The items that were received are terrible and not even close to the pictures on the website. I contacted them multiple times about returning the items and them paying the shipping and they stopped answering.

Ordered dresses on line from Klynu.com There website says they are from South Carolina. The Dresses came and I tried them on and they did not fit. I went on line and asked how to return these dresses. They emailed me everyday saying they would give me $14.00 and I keep the dresses. I paid $93.00 for the dresses. I replied saying No i do not want the dresses and want to return. After 5 days of responding there final amount was like $39.00 and keep the dresses. After many discussions with this company they finally said that its too much to pay for freight to return the dresses. Of course there supposed to be out of South Carolina and I paid $14.99 for shipping.

They finally got mad and said I would have to pay to return the dresses in Dubai ?? What ?? It would cost me more to ship to Dubai than the dresses cost me. On there web site it states you can return or exchange within 30 days. On facebook coments from the company its says FREE Returns or Exchanges. What a Scam ? I have tried contacting my Visa company and trying to dispute the charge. Anything more I can do ?
