The issue is about a scammer who pretends to be a flight booking agent. This scammer uses a phone number that is very similar to a legitimate travel agency, causing people to call them by mistake. When a person calls, the scammer takes their credit card information, charges it for the full amount, but never actually books the flight, effectively stealing the money.

booked flight on website on March 25

representative called to go over booking and took credit card information over the phone. email received with flight details to confirm with final booking to be emailed in May. May 24th and now can't reach anyone by phone or email
