I bought a pet Ferret from a private breeder in Texas called Kings Bridge Ferrets and they claimed to use Ocean Air Way for pet shipping. I (well my teenage daughter) paid $200 for the Ferret and we expected to receive it delivered to us the next day. All of a sudden we began getting back-to-back emails from Ocean Air Way stating we had to pay for a crate, then an email saying we had to pay for a pet permit, then another saying we had to buy pet insurance, then pay a quarantine fee, and finally a chip implant fee. $6,000 later, I have not received our pet Ferret, the shipping company went MIA, and the lady I bought the Ferret from refuses to help. Now I am having to go looking for an attorney. Worst experience ever. Stay away from purchasing things like this out of state and NEVER EVER use Ocean Air Way for anything!!
