Type of a scam Investment

I was in an crypto currency investment group claimed to be led by Morgan Stanley investor advisor. Profits have been made and I was able to withdraw a small amount of the profits before. But now when I need to draw a bigger amount, they claimed I need to pay a tax avoidance fee (new money) in order to withdraw any money from the account. The amount of the fee was never informed before offering the option or the fee is mandatory. I said I wanted to opt out the fee and pay my own tax and they now said there’s a penalty for opting out and gave me threatening words about US government and affecting my work, etc. If I close the account, they claimed I will never be able to access the money, not even my original investing principal.
