I applied for a position on LinkedIn. I received a text from a company inviting me for an interview with a Microsoft Teams code. I emailed the company for more information. It seemed pretty legitimate from the email they sent me, describing the job description and pay. I scheduled the interview and they responded. However, this interview wasn’t a Teams call, they wanted to interview me through chat. They went by another company name: North Point Advisory Group.

I did some research and people mentioned the company and warned everyone this was a scam of people asking for money for some cryptocurrency scheme.

I went on LinkedIn to report the employer and it disappeared.

I tried to send an email to that employer and it stated it no longer exists. They use the name Nexora a lot according to online posts.
