Company sends official looking credit card offering a large credit line and a number to call to activate. At closer inspection the card is not real. They are looking for an opportunity to pull credit reports or something. If you receive the fake card, DO NOT call the number.

I received an unsolicited piece of mail that looked like a new credit card. The paperwork urged me to activate the card, and nowhere said that it was an "offer", but rather implied this was a card I had already applied for and received. The card itself looks legit at first glance, but has no Visa/MC logo, no signature field, and the expiration date is 2 months from now.

Credit Card activation notice for credit line of $150,000 with credit card with authentic looking front but missing signature and CCV on back.

- Troy, MI, USA

received unsolicited credit card with letter indicating: available credit $150,000, activation code, activate card by phone or by secured website, 0.0% introductory offer, 2 bar codes. On envelope the postage reads "PRESORTED STANDARD US POSTAGE PAID WORTH, IL PERMIT 250"

I received what looks just like a credit card in the mail. It was made out out me and had my business name on it as well. I never ordered a company business card. When I called to ask why I was sent a personalized company business card without ordering one the customer service rep was fast to tell me all the perks. Perks? Why aren't they in writing I asked? He said, "Well I just explained to you, I couldn't be any more clear" That's when I caught on realized this was not what I thought was a legit credit card offer. When I insisted he send me something in writing he was even more slighted in his responses. I kinda feel foolish giving him my e-mail but I did report it as spam as soon he wrote. Also, after I hung up I Googled and found out more info on this scam company.

Received letter with "fake" credit card, stating limit of $ 150,000 and instruction to activate via phone. Back of credit card does not have a signature field, CVV or phone number. The front states "Platinum Equipment Lease Card" and does not have a credit card sign or chip. This card has been sent unsolicited. I have never been a customer of Notable Capital and did not require a new credit card. Seems like scam to me.

I received in the mail what for all intents and purposes, appears to be a credit card from Notable Capital. It says Notable Capital Platinum on the front, has a 16-digit pressed number on the front, valid from 5/16 thru 7/16 and has my personal name on the front and the name of my wife's former medical practice, closed in 2010. ON the back it has what appears like a magnetic strip, and the following text: "Platinum Lease Card - Your card is issued and services by Notable Capital." The back also lists their website www.notablecapital.com, their address Notable Capital, 4900 N Scottsdale Rd #4500, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, but has no signature strip. I spoke with my a local merchant services company who stated that the 1st 6-digit identifier on the card is not affiliated with any bank and is therefore not a credit card. The trifold statement that the card was attached to with hot glued, looks like any new credit card delivery package you receive with legitimate cards, including a $150,000 credit limit. The website landing page asks you to "Activate" the card by entering the 16-digit # contained on the from of the card. It also displays the following pitch "We can't loan you a dream. We can loan you the capital to achieve it. STARTING THE PROCESS IS QUICK AND EASY. When you need working capital, we know you don't have time to wait. Just fill in the form below and submit it. We'll be in touch shortly." I did not enter this information or call them. Neither I nor my wife ordered or request this card or any service from Notable Capital. The activation # on the sticker affixed to the card and on the attached statement (1-877-297-9496) card is not the same as the # listed on the website landing page (1-877-251-9701). I neither called nor entered the information requested our of concern that this would only provide them my valid phone number to affiliate with the information they already have.

I received a letter from Notable capital in the mail with a credit card - says call now to activate. I did not sign up for a credit card nor have I ever heard of them. The letter asks me to activate using secure methods - a phone number and a website. Credit limit is set at $150,000 per the letter. Says member since 5/16 and the card expires 6/16???

I received a Platinum credit card in the mail with my name and name of my company embossed in the card. I looked it up on line and found others had received similar card scams.

We received in the mail today a "premium platinum card" from Notable Capital...which I did not ask for nor have I ever heard of.

The card was addressed to our business. The letter with the card attached states to activate your card now with an available credit of $150,000. It does not contain the Visa or MasterCard logo nor does it have a place on the back to write your name. It also doesn't have a CVV number.

I googled this card and found a similar scam reported on this website (but for IMCA Capital, possibly a former name): https://www.hackerfactor.com/blog/index.php?/archives/696-Whats-In-Your-Wallet.h... />
This website had a picture of the letter and the card and it was exactly what I received, just from a different "company".

I noticed in the thread that others had written that they had received one from Notable Capital.   Incredible!. I am not going to attach a picture because you can find what it looks like on the above web site. I have also reported this to the FBI.

They sent me what looks to be a real credit card, unsolicited, with a number to call to activate. The card says it's a Premium Platinum Card for my business.

I received in the mail today a "premium platinum card" from Notable Capital...which I did not ask for nor have I ever heard of this company. It was addressed to a name that is only used by the Georgia Board of Nursing...FYI. The letter with the card attached states to activate your card now with an available credit of $150,000. It does not contain the Visa or MasterCard logo nor does it have a place on the back to write your name. It also doesn't have a CVV number.
