Received a "You have been selected for a business line of credit for $150,000" notice along with a "Platinum Rewar Card" (unsolicited). Is this a "bait and switch?" Is this a scam to get my credit information?

Received a "New Notable Capital Platinum Card" with $500,000 Available Credit at 0.0% Interest. The 16-digit Card Number started with 4005 9288 but it was not a VISA Card. There was no CVV or Signature space on back of card. Otherwise, it looks like a standard credit card.

I was sent an unsolicited credit card from this company. I believe that it is illegal to do that.

Notable Capital mailed me an unsolicited credit card with a limit of $150,000 that is only valid for one month. I did NOT apply for this card. There is not a place on the back of the card for me to sign, either. There is only one phone number available, which I will not call because I don't want them to have my phone number, too.

Today I received a plain white envelope containing a new card (plastic similar to a credit card) labeled "new Notable Capital Premium Platinum card". Available credit $150,000. 0.0% introductory offer and no other terms available. The card itself has a "member since 07/16", "valid thru 08/16". This all appears fraudulent to me.

Received an unsolicited credit card in the mail, with my name and the name of my business on it, $150,000 available credit. Card says: Member since 06/16, valid Thru 08/16. Account number 4003+3507-5606-2916

Unsolicited credit card in mail. Fake credit limit soliciting phone call to activate the card with one month expiration date stating $150,000 limit. Also stated it could be activated online.

My business in Lexington, Kentucky received an unsolicited credit card from Notable Capital. It was addressed to a person who is neither an officer, nor even an employee of my company. I have attached an image of the offer for your information. The credit card is not lawfully compliant, but appears to be a very good "fake," and the website listed by Notable Capital yields only an "activation" page.

This appears to be a scam targeted at collecting specific contact and credit information. We are concerned that persons acting on behalf of Notable Capital are attempting to defraud our credit and we request all information known to your bureau regarding this entity.

Thank You.

I received in the mail today a "premium platinum card" from Notable Capital...which I did not ask for nor have I ever heard of this company. It is made to look like an account has been opened in your business name and someone authorized a credit card. The letter with the card attached states to activate your card now with an available credit of $150,000. It does not contain the Visa or MasterCard logo nor does it have a place on the back to write your name. It also doesn't have a CVV number. Beware--it is a scam that gets you to call them to see if there has been some mistake, then they try and get you to take out a loan. Shame on this company and this technique--it should immediately be shut down

I received an unsolicited credit card in the mail with my name and company name on it. No signature box. No security code.

We were sent an unsolicited credit card via US mail. The card had one correct name and one incorrect name listed. It shows a credit limit of $150K. We never requested this card. I would attach an image of the document and card received but it contains personal information and account numbers. Very disturbing to receive an unsolicited credit card with large credit limit listing a name that does not reside at the address listed on the document.

Not a real credit card, wants me to call 800 number to activate for credit of $150,000.00

Platinum Equipment Lease Card, #4004 7268 1106 1016

Valid thru 7/16

Member since 6/16

My Name

My Buisness Name

I have never applied for nor ever accepted anything for this card

Received a card that was not requested.card is no right. does not say visa or master card. has no CWV number, expiration is next month. Platinum LEASE card with credit limit of 150,000. This is not real.

I received a credit card in the mail from them purporting to have a $150,000 limit. I have not applied for any new credit cards in years. There was no letter attached; just the card on a standard sheet saying "Activate Your card Now. Here is your new notable Capital Premium Platinum Card". I could activate by either calling 866-774-8658 or online at www.notablecapital.com.

The back of the card had their address, website and said "Platinum Lease Card" (whatever that is) and "your card is issued and serviced by Notable capital". Nothing else.

I found them on the web at www.notablecapital.com but the site was a single page allowing only me to activate the card or leave a message.

I shredded the card and recycled the letter.

I received a credit card that I never applied for. Called the company;clearly sounds like fraudulent activity.

Unsolicited Credit line of credit of $150,000

Offered a credit card with a number and activation ph. number, along with a huge credit limit, apparently without even knowing my credit score because the offer had the verbiage,"Notable Capital reserves the right to verify your financial information and to confirm your credit worthiness...".

They sent my wife what looks like a credit card, stating that it has an available credit of $150000, and indicating that she could call to activate it. However, while it has a 16-digit Visa like number (i.e. it starts with 4), the card doesn't say "Visa". There's no way to sign it. The business it came to is closed. And we did not request a credit card. In little bitty letters on the back of the page, it says "This is not an offer of credit."

I was panicked when it came, because we did not request a credit card, and the only number to call activates it. This is a complete scam.

Received, unsolicited, a "credit card" and activation letter in the mail. I have had no prior contact and have not applied for any such card from Notable Capital. The card is addressed to my business, Fiddling Conversions, LLC. See the attached image of card and letter. Presumably this is a fake card with no financial association to me or my business, but I do not want to call the activation number in case that automatically "activates" the card.

I received a pre-approved "Notable Capital Premium Platinum Card" with $150,000 available credit. It claimed 0.0% interest or no payments for 90 days. All I had to do is activate!

But on the back of the letter in tiny print, it notes that, despite claiming to be a credit card on the front of the page, "This is not an offer of credit. Notable Capital reserves the right to verify your financial information and to confirm your credit worthiness in its sole discretion. This will include, but is not limited to, verifying banking and trade relationships and obtaining credit reports. Notable Capital Fraud Protection Program protects the owner of this business."

Protects them from what? From fraudulently offering a credit card with $150,000 available credit, then pulling my credit report and other personal financial details if I call their 800 number to activate the card??

Help stop these folks from tricking more innocent individuals with this "credit card!!"
