I applied to the position advertised on a job site. I received an email with an offer for a "chat interview" with a link and code to join a Microsoft Teams meeting. I did that and was interviewed by someone named Connor Miller and part of the interview was to fill out a form which asked for my name, birth date and location. The next day I was congratulated in Teams for being accepted for the position and an email was sent from [email protected] with an employment offer letter. It just seemed too easy so I researched online and found that "this domain a freshly created, fake website set up specifically to execute employment scams. Independent security analysis reveals that this domain was registered just a few days ago in August 2026 and has already been blacklisted and flagged as a suspicious site." Unfortunately, I had already signed the offer letter and sent it back, but no other PII was obtained by them.
