I am getting calls just about every day, sometimes 3-4 times a day from the National Tax Executive Office. It starts as an automated message: "Good afternoon, this is Lucy with the National Tax Executive Office. My direct line is 833-727-9439." After the automated message about some tax issue, I pressed one to speak to a live agent. Informed this person that I do not have any tax issues and I don't owe anything, and hung up. They still continue to call. It's annoying because every time I block the number, they just call from a different one.
