mypassporthub attempts to look like an official US Dept of State website for passport renewal. They charge money to prepare a PDF when the application is available free on the government website. This also involves them collecting personal information, including social security number, date of birth, etc.

The website looked like it was going to process my application for a passport, it took all the information and did not present us with a passport, but instead gave a form to use to apply for his passport.

This is the first search result when searching "renew passport". The site looks very official, and seems like a way to submit your application online. the fine print stating otherwise is obscured and tiny. After paying the email states in much larger fine print that this is a service to fill out a FREE form the Govt already offers. no response from support emails. Beware.

Offered to do the work to get my passport renewed for 119.00 including expedited fees while all they did was fill out a PDF form.i now have to pay the fee again with the official government agency that handles passport.thr department of state.

This site leads you to believe that you are renewing your passport. You fill in a form and then they charge you the money. Also charged for passport insurance. Then they send you the form to print. But once you print it then you find out you still have to do all sorts of stuff to get the passport renewed, such as go to the Post Office, fill out more forms ( I found out the form they sent is not the right one) and pay more money. So basically you are paying money for nothing.

I searched “renew passport online”. I was directed to official looking website titled passport renewal DS-82 form. I entered all my personal data, declined expedited renewal fee, added passport card fee, and paid via debit. I then received confirmation that stated payment does not cover government fees. The email sent to me was then a pdf of the info I provided, to submit for passport renewal. They charged me to fill out a free form.

Website mimics the official US Government passport renewal page. It collects PRIVATE DATA. Only at the end, once ALL OF THE PRIVATE DATA has been given, does it become clear this is just a third party trying to get a fee for generating a PDF (that everyone can download from the US Government site). Complete fraud, and no one knows what they do with private data, like name, address, DOB, SSN.
