Great Experience!

My Bare Handz Started a Kitchen addition for me and my family in December ending in January. Plumbing was out until the end of 2023. She did a budget kitchen remodel for 30k. I had an inspector come out to sell the home and my kitchen remodel added 80k value to my home. Me and my family was really appreciate the work from My Bare Handz. Her contractor were professional, fast, and friendly. I'm choosing My Bare Handz each time!

Requested deposit of $7,500 to start bathroom project. Did not start work and requested more money to start. Terminated contract and requested full refund. Offered a "voucher" for service.

Voucher refused and no refund. Contractor stated several times that they would start work on a specific day and no work was ever started.

I actually had the same experience at first. I took the time to call other Home Improvement Companies and the price My Bare Handz Charges was 50% less than the others. I added a Laundry Room to my kitchen. She explained that she won't charge me more over my 30k budget. Yet she would have to charge 65% for the deposit to cover materials. I didn't want to agree to that. So I canceled at the door. I had paid $7,500 a month prior. In the state of Illinois you have 3 days to cancel from the date of first payment or signed contract. She refused my payment and offered me a voucher as well. Fortunately, for me because after meeting with other companies my remodel would of been 60k/80k. I called her back and ask that we resume. My Kitchen came out beautiful and added 80k value to my home. I canceled because I didn't trust the new company especially after raising the deposit. She asked me to give her company a chance. She said she was starting out and couldn't afford to buy materials for my project. She needed materials and 60% labor upfront. I understood that after thinking about it. I called My Bare Handz and my Kitchen is really Beautiful and I couldn't have imagined that. I referred My Bare Handz to everyone I know. I ran across this looking up the company information for a deck remodel. Sometimes we fail to admit we are wrong. Contact the owner. Shockingly, This company does really, Really good work.
