I found the ad on Facebook marketplace. I was messaging a guy who directed me to the website which seemed legitimate. purchased 4 ductless units totaling $2,018.00. the website said it offered free shipping along with a multi unit discount. I was charged shipping along with no discount for purchasing multiple units. I emailed the company asking about it twice and received nothing back. I asked the guy I was dealing with on messenger and he said his boss doesn't have time to mess with such a small quantity as he sells so many units per week. He claimed his boss said to just refund me my money, I said yes just refund me. He said, my boss said to just call your credit card company and you'll get it back. Which I ended up doing. I got all of it back from chase. I said I have the money to you and you should be the one to give it back to me. He said he would talk to his boss and get back to me and I haven't heard anything since. They also tried to get me to drive half way to west Virginia pick them up from him after I paid full price. He blocked me on Facebook messenger. I added the guys phone number above that I was dealing with.
