found the ad on instagram, took a survey there but then decided not to sign up. they email me a few times offering discounts limited time. but then the red flags start appearing: i got an email "You've been chosen!" about how "i was selected for the month" and that i got a ( all of these following details are copy pasted and not actually calculated per person as i learned later on reddit) 30/33 "procrastination score (very high)", 29/33 "visionary commitment (very high)" even though none of the questions ever were about that, 27/33 "emotional intelligence (high)" this of all things was not at all tested in the 20 question quiz, and "success probability" is "89% (extremely high)", that my key struggles were "procrastination and childhood trauma" which the test did not test for at all, and it goes on about how my "visionary commitment score" is "remarkably high" .. and so anyways theres more to that email but it offers a 60% off deal and when i clicked it it takes me to choose different plans (not a subscription) for 1 month, ( another option with a different amount of months i forget), and 1 year. the 1 month one was 23.99 so i pay for it thinking alright sure this can suppliment me while i get the ball rolling with my actual psychologist appointment in a few weeks. anyways, i continue and they start advertising their 'accountability coach' program where for over 100 dollars itll "boost my chances of success from like 20% to 85% and i went 'holdup, wasnt the "success probability" supposed to be "89%" what happened to that? Plus, im already stretched thin financially, i cant afford another 100+ dollars like this, so im about to click continue when i remember the success rate drop, and .. how theres a 2 hour timer for the 'offer' of a coach as a whole.. and how there was a 6 min timer earlier for the offers when i had clicked the 60% one.. and how theyd 'offered 50%' off just for not deciding to sign up initially after the quiz.. it just got uneasier and uneasier.. so i went to reddit and found out just how much of a lie it all was.. i paused my debit and put it on auto decline for overdraft and tried to move the rest of my money to my paypal to protect it but those declined (seperate issue), emailed both the bot that doesn't reply ([email protected]) and the email i found on reddit that they respond with from trustpilot reviews requests for refund and forwarding the sketchy emails to them so they cant deny like they did on trustpilot.. (which trustpilot also seperately is money driven and cant be trusted but this isnt about them) .. at this point i just want to know what i can do to keep them from trying to charge me more which is inevitable..
