Recieved a letter in the mail with no return address, purporting to be a Medicare Advantage Plan, with a heading in capital letters stating "RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE IS REQUESTED. " It went on to state that "they were attempting to reach [me] regarding [my] potential eligibility for a Medicare Advantage Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan that may include additional benefits. Please call us today at [phone number] and speak with a licensed insurance agent to see if [I] qualify. " At the bottom of the letter in small print it did state that it was an advertisement for solicitation of insurance and that "Medicare Support Hotline is a registered DBA of Call Trader, LLC" and also that it was not a part of a government agency. I looked up Medicare Support Hotline and Call Trader LLC, but all I could find with these names were reports of similar contact listed as a Medicare scam, so I've included my experience, since the number listed on my letter is different than the ones I saw on other reports.
