Was sent an invoice for $497.92 for advertising my business online. I have not signed up nor had I even heard of this company. Thank goodness I looked the company up on BBB.

Fake invoice made to look like yellow pages listing

I do not pay to have my phone number in the Yellow or White Pages. I received this invoice, when I tried to look the company up online, there was no information. I feel they are sending invoices to companies in the hopes of the owner paying with no questions asked.

- Ithaca, NY, USA

I received a bill from this company for $497.94 when no goods or services had been ordered and in fact there had been no contact with the company before.

- Flushing, NY, USA

Today I received an invoice for $497.94 which I never authorized as this address has not been used for over 5 yrs. I also tried to call twice and was sent to VM, never received a call back. I'm sure some offices would not bother checking and pay the bill.

An invoice for Sponsor Listing was sent to my office that APPEARS authentic but services were never requested or delivered.

- Eugene, OR, USA

They sent me a bill for $497.94 for a website listing. I have no contact with this fake company. I have not paid this and the voicemail goes to a recording.

- Cambridge, MA, USA

Media Pages requested payment ($489.82) for a 2 year business listing that was claimed to be purchased on 12.11.2016 with a whopping annual interest rate applied to the account of 19,12000%. No prior contact with Media Pages took place prior to the receipt of the invoice. The number was answered only by outgoing voicemail and the call was directed to a customer service voice mail box. No identifying information regarding the company was provided when the call was answered or in the outgoing message to the customer service mail box.

It is simply an invoice stating a date of transaction being 1/5/17 for 2 years of bold listing in their media pages. The amount is $489.82.

I received an invoice from MEDIA PAGES for some type of advertising. The logo shows the walking fingers. The invoice is for $489.11.

We received an invoice in the mail that was from "Media Pages." There was a "walking fingers" logo in the upper right corner and a generic map image in the center left of the page, making it look like an invoice for a phone book listing. The amount due was $489.81. Nothing was in color, except the yellow book portion of the logo in the corner, and the invoice was printed on regular paper. The payment address was in Georgia, but the envelope was stamped "Miami FL 331." There was a phone # and fax # (888-215-6757) listed on the invoice. I, being the office manager, called the phone number, which transfers you to an automated voice mail that says it is Customer Service, and that no one is available to take the call. (I left a message saying I was reporting the scam, and not to send any more mailers to our address.)

By First Class Mail, I received an invoice for $489.87 for a (supposed) one year subscription for undescribed services ??"Bold Listing" with a supposed "account number". I never heard of them and certainly did not "subscribe". I read on line that I was not the only one who received such a fake invoice. Should I report this to any government agency (Post Office/Mail Fraud)?

I received an invoice (with the "walking fingers" logo on the top left) for a 2 year Bold Listing for Media Pages for the amount of $489.87. The Basic Listing is stated to have no charge. The Annual Interest is 19,12000% and the interest next period is 02.50001%. The invoice says payment should be sent to Media Pages at 237 Kearny Street #364 San Francisco, CA 94108. My office has never received any prior contact regarding signing up for service or had any intention of signing up for stated service.

received an invoice from Media Pages with the "let your fingers do the walking" yellow pages logo for an add we did not order. amount 489.87

It notates interest annually is 19,12000% - yes that is a comma

Received a YP affiliated invoice (walking fingers logo) for 581.94 for services. It provides a fake account number with an invoice date of 4.29.2016. There is a warning that if payment is not remitted by the due date, further late fees and penalties may be assessed.

Sent an invoice to our office for yellow page services for a total amount of $581.94 due.

This invoice is confusing in nature and is fraudulent service. We never signed up for this service, and I can see how a new business could potentially be confused and might pay. Predatory. Please take these guys down
