Received a forwarded mail addressed to a business that was closed 5 years ago.

It was an invoice for a listing service that does not make any sense. The bill was for $498.83.

I am sure its a scam. I hope you can put a stop to this kind of scam.

It came from their Ohio address. Tel # 888-817-4618.

ON JUNE 25, 2020, WE RECEIVED A FAKE INVOICE FROM YELLOW PAGES DIRECTORY (ACTING AS THE REAL YELLOW PAGES). THE INVOICE WAS REQUESTING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $498.87 AND LOOKED PRETTY LEGITIMATE. HOWEVER, THE INVOICE CONTAINED TYPOS AND MISINFORMATION ABOUT OUR BUSINESS.

We just received an invoice for a 2 year BOLD Directory listing for a charge of $498.89. This is not a service we asked for. There is no website listed on the invoice. There is a logo which would make you think it was from Yellow Pages.

+1

Our law office received a fake bill from Media Pages billing us for $498.87 and giving a fake account number, invoice number, and fake date sold and start date. The invoice states payments may be made via check and payable to Media Pages. We did not contract with this business which I highly suspect is fake and and wanted to warn others. The payment was to be sent to Baton Rouge, LA, but we noticed the envelope was mailed from Miami, FL.

My agency received an invoice from "Yellow Directory Pages" for $500.88. Total scam - aside from the fact that we do not advertise with this company, the invoice itself was full of errors: poor grammar, misspellings, punctuation issues, etc. Publishing information is purportedly this company's business, so the invoice should be flawless. We get these periodically. I just ignore them and nothing happens.

This business and others like it use the yellow pages logo to look like a legit phone number publishing company. Don't be fooled! They will take your businesses money and no publication will be made. Think about it, when was the last time you used a phone book? Notice the misspelling of "LIMMITED TIME OFFER" and the bogus date of "02/31/19" which are huge indicators of a scam!

I am a physician

Never listed with yellow pages I am an employee of UF not in private practice

I receyan invoice to pay for the amount listed below

Invoice no is 07555478552102

I tried to call customer service no 8664552779 message stated that there is nobody to take the call

I received a fake invoice in the mail for Media Pages with a logo like yellow pages. The amount requested was 498.81. It is for some type of publishing listing. I did not respond to this. I have never listed anything with these people in the past

I received an invoice from "Yellow Directory Pages" today for $498.83. I have never used the yellow pages or contacted them.

We are a small business with multiple locations. This invoice was sent to one of our locations, stating that their phone number was the contact for this invoice. The invoice asks for payment to "Yellow Directory Pages" they gave a toll free number 866-455-2779 that when called says "thank you for calling customer service." After holding it asks you to leave a voice mail "for customer service" never identifying themselves as "Yellow Directory pages" or anything else.

Invoice for $497.86 for "listing" for advertising. I did not request nor approve this.

Received a bill for listing in Yellow pages directory which we did not. Trying to collect $497.86 for a listing we did not authorize.

Invoice for unsolicited media advertising - has Yellow Pages logo top and bottom / no response at customer service numbers or local number listed as contact. One year billing for $497.88ostenibly for listing under Physicians and Surgeons in ? telephone directory locally with barcode ? for Grove Edition. My specialized practice relies entirely on word of mouth advertising among a specialized clientele, and I think that this invoice is designed to fly below the radar of inexperience office managers in busy doctors' offices. It is a malignant business practice.

- Windsor, CO, USA

Received mailed Invoice for listing services that wasn't purchased.

- Portland, OR, USA

Fake invoice sent to our office, likely used to try to deceive staff into thinking they have to pay this ridiculous fee of $497.88 for a "Net Profile" listing.

- Montpelier, VT, USA

I received an invoice for 497.89 for a listing of my phone number in an unknown publication that I did not request. Calls to the company went to voicemail with no response. I hope ScamPulse.com will take action as this seems to be a repeat problem. If ScamPulse.com doesn't do that shall I call the federal consumer protection agency?

Thanks

We received an invoice in the mail on 1/16/2018 from Yellow Directory Pages in the sum of $497.92. The invoice looks legitimate at first glance until you see the typographical errors such as spelling mistakes and $ signs not lining up in the right place. It has the yellow pages logo and an account number. The invoice says to return payment to an address in Newton Centre, MA, does not include a return envelope, and the envelope it arrived in is postmarked Miami, Florida. We received the mail in Shepherdstown, WV.

- Spokane, WA, USA

This scammer has sent our business an invoice for Bold Listing for Spokane Edition of "Media Pages", which has the same logo as Yellow Pages. We had reported this scam in 2015 and now 2 years later they are trying again. We think they are focusing on medical/dental offices because these business offices do advertise in phone books & websites. Rarely do these offices have the time to research the billing since it looks very official and of course with the logo of fingers walking on yellow pages, it's easy to assume it is a valid billing.

- Philadelphia, PA, USA

Received a bill for $497.87 for advertising in the yellow pages.....haven't advertised anywhere in the last 20 years!

Never gave approval verbal or written for this service.

This is a scam!!

Received a false invoice for yellow pages services. (we do not use any yellow pages service). Also they had the wrong address (for us) and the wrong business information.
