I hired Marimon General Carpentry Inc (Yoel Marimon) to build my kitchen cabinetry and a custom closet in my home. I paid $16,000 in total.

The kitchen was left unfinished, and the closet work was never started. After receiving full payment, the contractor stopped responding to all calls and messages.

I have photos of the unfinished kitchen, proof of payment, and all communication attempts. The business operates from 8390 NW 70 ST, Doral, FL and appears registered at 5257 NW 5th St, Miami, FL 33126 on Sunbiz.

I am filing complaints with the City of Hialeah, Miami-Dade County Consumer Protection, the Florida DBPR, the FDACS, and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

This individual, Yoel Marimon, distributes his business cards in hardware stores (Shell Lumber).When you ask him how to see his work, he invites you to see him visiting his Instagram account. Ask for 50% deposit for the materials and when the time comes to deliver the work stop answering calls and never heard from him. After the fact I search the Best Business Bureau to find out three filed complaints on 4-17-19, 9-10-19 and 11-7-19 with the same scenario that lost more money than I did.
