Individual was set up outside in front of Walmart located at 1133 N. Emerson Ave Greenwood, IN 46143 on 9/28/18, collecting donations for an organization called Making Time 4 Vets. He stated that the organization put together care packages for Veterans. He presented a donation card with information on the different donation amount that you could make, and also a list of different items needed that would be put in the care packages. I donated using my bank debit card, which I realize was a foolish thing to do, but this individual was so convincing. I did not have any cash money on me at the time, and really wanted to help the Veterans. My card was comprised and the person(s) had tried to use it at several different gas stations in and around Hammond, IN.

First of all Making Time 4 Vets is a legal, 100% tax deductible, federally recognized 501c-3 charity in good standing in all states we are registered to conduct business in. For the, approaching, 3 years of operations that we have existed this is the only complaint we have ever had and this complaint doesn't hold water or cut the mustard.
Fact, no effort, 0, was made by law enforcement or you to contact us with this alleged incident. We use square and we simply charge a credit or debit card and issue an immediate electronic receipt. Square app does not allow us to save the information doing that. This allegation is false and obviously made with the intent to soil our reputation. How ever you had your card compromised was not any fault of ours. I doubt we were the only business that you used your card at. Nobody that works for our grass roots organization lives anywhere close to where you claim your card info was used. I'm sorry your card was compromised yet that is 0 fault of ours and we won't pretend it is. You nor had or have any law enforcement reached out to us in any way, shape or form to even investigate or look into your claim at all...EVER. This is complaint is slanderous and false.
