Madec Services LLC, aka. Madec Solutions LLC, provided computer technical support starting in June 2019. By June 2023, they told me I could buy "insurance" to cover the cost of security from the dark web which they said my personal information was on. This would restore files destroyed by viruses hackers put on my computer and remove my information from the dark web. I paid them the money they wanted which was never ending for nearly a year. They tried different programs to repair the damage and asked for more money saying the program didn't work but I would get back all the money I spent. They would send me the "insurance" checks totaling $218,000 that I would end up paying them for their "services". In 2024 they reverted to sending txt messages and after I made the final payment, they could no longer be reached. The txt messages came from a California phone number but the checks I sent went to Bend Or. I was eligible for the "insurance" because I was a customer for 5 years.
