My friend booked a night stay at one of the listed's rentals. She paid for the night and was told that she would receive the code for the door at 3:30 on the day of check in. The day came and the code was never sent to her; at 3:30, she texted the lister 4 times requesting the code. Before the code was given, she had to pay an incidentals invoice of almost $300, to cover any potential damages but then was told the hold would be released once we checked out. She paid the invoice, got the code for the FIRST door, and then was met with a second door that also required a code. She received the second code a little bit later. We stayed our night (the condition of the rental is a different matter all together; no toilet paper or trashbags, lights didn't work, etc.) and checked out Sunday morning. She texted the lister at 9:30 asking when the hold is expected to be released from her account, no reply. She then sent another text around noon, no reply either. She then proceeded to send 4 more text messages to the lister asking about the hold on her account, none were met with any type of response.
