Fake 'Closing Down Sale' pages, using legitimate business names (in my case it was, https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/) which is advertised on social sites (for me it was, YouTube).
You order products at a reduced price and instead receive a fake engagement ring with a certificate of authenticity, from a fake site, http://www.GRA-moissanites.com. You are asked to register your faux moissanite ring.
It takes people's details to create good reviews for other false sales. And in some cases, people have unauthorised purchases or transactions made using the victim's credit/debit card.
