Type of a scam Online Purchase
Last night she insisted on using her own transportation service to send me the dog. It was agreed that I would send her the other half of the adoption fee when I received the puppy today. This morning I received an email from her "private transportation service" with the bill that equaled the exact amount that I had still owed her. When I asked that they send me a picture of the dog ready to be transported, they sent me the exact picture that the breeder sent me of the dog when I had originally asked about it a few days before. When I called them out on it, they sent me another picture of what looked like the puppy playing in someone's yard or shed. That was not acceptable for me. They insisted on me sending money to continue with transport. I sent them my work address and told them I would be there all day and that I would pay them when they arrived. They still insisted that I send payment in advance. By then I was furious! I told them to send me their address and I would drive the 4 hours myself to their business to pick up the dog myself and pay them when I arrived. They refused and insisted that I pay the transport fee. They even accused me of animal abandonment. That was when I had had enough. I did not continue with the adoption process. So now I may be out the $450 that was sent to their so called "son/cousin".
