Got a text message for a job opening as project manager. Then a MS Team interview in which I was told I was hired. The next thing was filling the contract and sign it, then e-mail it them. Today (4/30/2025) I got a fedex package with a catchier check for $6,900. Luckily, I know the bank well and they confirmed it was a fake check.

It was send from Jerry Edmon in plane paper.

The person I have been communicating with is: Julian Babarczy

I immediately stopped communicating with him after confirming the check was fake. It was not deposited. However, if it was, I was supposed to send a copy of the receipt and where it was deposited.
