i filled out an application for a remote position on indeed. I was contacted early in the morning in weird hours, offered a position without any real verification. they told me my position would be receiving packages and that i would repackage those and ship them out internationally. they emailed me "i9" documents that were shady. when i asked about this they got very defensive and emailed me proof of their LLC and a very obviously fake ESN paper from the IRS.
