Scammer called offering a $3,000 loan. Stated that their would be fees involved. Told consumer to buy multiple green dot and google play cards, and they did as such. Scammer said they work for Lending Tree Personal Loans, which is a real company, but the "employee" was not real. Gave the consumer multiple extensions/codes/passwords to help provide legitimacy. Consumer spent 1,000 dollars on gift cards to give to scammer
