Report

The scammer called my sister's phone number and left a voicemail asking for me. They said this: "Hi, my name is Lucy Gonzalez. I'm with legal courier services. I have an urgent message for Mariana Magana. A court notice will be delivered to your residence and workplace within the next 24 hours, containing legal proceedings against you. For more information, you may contact the office at 844-733-0231. You may provide case number 2026-1761482. Again, the phone number is 844-733-0231. Thank you..." My sister called me telling me about it and so I called the number immediately. The man that answered knew my name, address, employer, and last 4 digits of my SSN. They said they would send me an email and I would have to put all my card information and to make sure I sent the information by tonight or else someone would come to my door to look for me and my employer would also get a notice.
