I received a call from someone from Legal Office. They said that a complaint was going to be filed against me. I told her don't call my phone and hung up. They called me right back and I told her again not to call. So I call back from my work phone and asked what the name of the company was and they said Legal Office and they have offices in Arizona and Las Vegas. I'm in VA though. He said my name and I'm like how do they know my work cell. So I asked what this was about and they told me it was for a Sprint Bill. I haven't had a Sprint cell since 2003. Then my Mother calls me who is 73 years old and told me they left a threatening message.

Received a voicemail stating they were looking for a relative because a civil action suit was placed against them. Informed that he was notified and given a case number. Threatened that if they received no reply, they would take legal action without him.

They called and left a message saying they have been trying to contact me.

I call back to ask about what that day I took out a loan for $300 and some dollars from a pay day loan place but won’t tell me which one. I ask when one person I talked to they say there all over the place. That it happened in 2011 when I worked somewhere I didn’t work at that time then they said another place which I didn’t work at the time they were saying. The other person I speak the next day says I did it online.

I couldn’t get straight answers just the persons trying to make me pay without giving me reasonable verification of anything. So I don’t know if someone fraudulently used my info or these people are frauds that called me.

Caller uses a restricted number. They will read a script or record a voicemail saying they are trying to reach so and so regarding a pending legal action or complaint. They say that they have important legal documents and that if you don't respond they will say that you have successfully been served and that they other party will proceed with the action. They call on multiple phone numbers that we own. They refuse to provide information about the company that they supposedly represent, other than saying that they work for a legal office. They threatened to send someone to our home within 24 hours.

Hello I received ca call from 855 280 2402 starting I owe $3,400 I had to pay $1,000 while I was on the phone if not he would take the paperwork upstairs and file for litigation court. I asked for more information he said he has no information only that he knows where I live and my full name. and he will garnish my wages and pick up my vehicle. the debt he says I owe was from 2002 but he would not tell me to who. please advise.

We get daily calls saying that my social security number is linked to an outstanding lawsuit. Most appear to be a recording. Voice is mail or female and almost always, the person has a southern accent. Do not give these guys your name, SSN or any other information!
