Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

Fake position

The scammer will follow a script, giving you a fake interview, you'll be hired of course. Then following the hire in process, they will continue to follow this script having you fill out new hire paperwork, and a W2 form with your social security number on it. Everything will seem too good to be true. It is.
They ask you to deposit 1,400 into your account for home office supplies. While this is pending, they ask you to personally pay for everything. Offering to pay for brand new laptop, desktop, chair, and software needed for the company. Also asking for your phone service login information so they can buy you a brand new phone and pay for your phone plan. Check will never clear. You can also tell when they go off script as the grammar immediately changes.

They said I got a job as an assistant. They were going to pay for my office equipment from one of their "sponsors" then I was to pay with that. They provided a person etc and I paid $1000 until the check cleared. They have since ghosted me and put a return on the check they sent. They got me for $1000

They reached out under the pretense of a virtual job. Things moved quickly and they told me they were going to send a check for equipments. When I asked more about this check, they stopped replying altogether. I did a reverse image google search on the person I was talking to and the image is stolen from someone else
